Vicuna

The Vicuna is truly the king of all fibre producing animals having the finest natural fleece in the world

An endangered species, there are very few Vicuna in Europe. Outside of a few zoos, Roseland Llamas in Devon are probably the only private enterprise in Europe to keep Vicuna. The Vicuna is a wild cousin of the llama and although produces only small quantities of fibre, it is reputed to be the finest natural fibre in the world.
